Joyette Jones-Geday, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Starting in 2007, Joyette began their career as an Assistant Director of HR at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where they administered employee benefits and oversaw recruitment for hourly positions. Joyette then joined Omni Hotels as an HR Manager, where their responsibilities included supervising HR coordinators and managing recruitment and employee benefits.

In 2010, Joyette joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as an Assistant Director of Human Resources, where they oversaw all HR department functions and ensured compliance with employment laws and union contracts. Joyette later became the Director of Human Resources at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, where they continued to lead HR operations and prepare budgets.

In 2014, Joyette became the Atlanta Recruitment Center Leader at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., managing recruitment efforts and operational expenses for the company's hotels in the Atlanta metro area. Joyette then joined W Hotels as the Director of Human Resources, where they directed all HR operations and prepared budgets.

From 2018 to 2020, Joyette worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at AMB Sports + Entertainment, where they managed HR operations for the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and provided guidance and support to over 2500 leaders and associates.

In 2020, Joyette joined the Atlanta Hawks as the Director of People & Culture, overseeing HR operations and implementing strategies. Joyette then moved on to Overtime, where they served as the Senior Director of People Operations & Compliance from 2021 to 2023.

Currently, Joyette holds the position of Senior Director of People & Culture at TOCA Football, where they continue to utilize their HR expertise in shaping the company's culture and people practices.

Throughout their career, Joyette has demonstrated a strong ability to manage HR operations, recruitment, budgeting, and employee relations. Joyette'sexperience spans various industries, including hospitality and sports & entertainment.

Joyette Jones-Geday, SHRM-SCP completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Loyola University Chicago in 2002. Joyette obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in 2015 and also completed a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging certification from LinkedIn in 2020.
