Wayne Rapp has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Wayne started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Chad Industries, where they focused on the design of automation equipment and integrated robotics systems. Wayne then joined Adept Technology as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they specialized in automated systems for semiconductor wafer handling and photonics fiber alignment.

In 2003, Rapp moved on to Orthodyne Electronics as a Project Engineer, where they worked on determining accuracy issues in z-theta systems on wire bonders. Wayne performed experiments and investigated various control systems and feedback mechanisms.

Following this, Rapp became a Managing Partner at Chad Industries, leading the entire technical staff and serving as the chief designer for the small business. Wayne played a key role in a successful buy-out plan and had a worldwide reach with their responsibilities.

Rapp then joined Jabil as a Director of Engineering, where they helped transition CHAD Industries into a valuable component of Jabil's organization. Wayne grew the team and developed innovative robotics systems to automate Jabil's manufacturing sites worldwide.

After Jabil, Rapp joined Precise Automation as an Engineering Consultant, where they tied up loose ends on their PF series robot and moved manufacturing and final assembly to Japan. Wayne faced numerous technical and cultural hurdles and successfully launched a production line.

Next, Rapp worked at Hyperloop One as the Director of Manufacturing, where they built a team of engineers and technicians to manufacture and assemble the world's first full-scale Hyperloop prototype. Wayne overcame various challenges and had a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Rapp then joined FemtoMetrix, Inc. as the Senior Vice President of Product Development, where they focused on taking their product from laboratory-grade to industrial-grade and securing an installation at SK hynix.

Currently, Rapp is working at TOCA Football as the Vice President of Engineering and Production. Their responsibilities include building the engineering and tech team, developing high-quality products, and crafting growth strategies for the company.

Wayne Rapp holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Earlier, from 1988 to 1992, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara.
