Tahir Ahmed

Tahir Ahmed has an extensive work experience in the legal field. Tahir currently holds the position of Managing Partner at TA Associates Limited since March 2019. Prior to that, they served as General Counsel at TODAQ starting from August 2018. From December 2015 to August 2018, Tahir worked as General Counsel at GEMS Education. Tahir was a Partner at Taylor Wessing from December 2012 to December 2015. Before that, they held the role of Local Partner at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP from March 2011 to January 2012. Tahir was also a Partner at Ashurst from April 2007 to March 2011 and at Norton Rose Fulbright from June 2006 to March 2007. Tahir started their career as a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance in January 2004 and later moved to Herbert Smith Freehills where they worked as a Senior Associate from June 2000 to December 2003.

Tahir Ahmed completed their LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of East Anglia between 1992 and 1995. Following this, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, specializing in the Legal Practice Course, at the University of the West of England from 1997 to 1998.
