Steve Ruckdashel has a long and varied work experience. Steve began their career in 2001 as a Shift Supervisor at CVS. In 2003, they joined the United States Marine Corps as an Information Systems Specialist, where they were awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and received an Honorable Discharge. Following this, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at North Dakota State University from 2010 to 2012. Steve then worked as a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at vRad (Virtual Radiologic), where they built internal web apps and worked with CSS frontends, JS frameworks, ASP.NET MVC, and MS SQL Server. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Principal Engineer and Sr Software Engineer - Blockchain Technology at Optum, designing and building full-stack blockchain solutions to healthcare problems and writing everything as code with terraform, helm, Go, and Solidity. Finally, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Snapdocs since 2020. Steve is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Todyl.
Steve Ruckdashel attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics. Prior to that, they attended E. C. Glass High School from 1999 to 2003.
