Steven Barris

Steven Barris, CISSP has a wealth of experience in the field of cyber security. Steven began their career in 2009 with the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Networks. In 2015, they joined Allied InfoSecurity as a Cyber Security Analyst. Steven then moved to Willis Towers Watson in 2016, where they held the role of Senior Cyber Security Analyst. In 2017, they accepted a position at GBprotect as a Lead Cyber Security Analyst. In 2018, they joined Aegon as a Senior Infrastructure Security Services Engineer. In 2019, they took a role at Bank of America as a Malware Prevention and Threat Intel. Most recently, they began working at Todyl in 2022 as a Detection and Response Engineer.

Steven Barris, CISSP has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, obtained in 2020. Steven also holds certifications from CompTIA, Elastic, (ISC)², and GIAC Certifications, including CompTIA Linux+ (2014), Elastic Certified Analyst (2022), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (2017), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (2013), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) (2017), and CompTIA Security+ (2011).
