Operations Manager at Tofugu

Jennifer Kim, PMP has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Jennifer began their career as a Marketing Intern at Citizens Bank of Canada, where they used Excel and PowerPoint to update and analyze monthly project portfolio balances, and helped create the project flowchart of the upcoming Referral Campaign. In 2008, they worked as an ESL Instructor for SFU Summer Camps. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Teaching Intern and Camp Evaluator for Guy Healy Japan. Jennifer then moved on to become a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) and Prefectural Advisor (PA) for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET). In 2014, they worked as an E-commerce copywriter and translator for Tokyo Otaku Mode Inc. remotely. From 2015 to 2018, they held the role of Project Manager at Globalme. Most recently, since 2019, they have been the Operations Manager at Tofugu.

Jennifer Kim, PMP, obtained their Honours Business Administration (HBA) from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Jennifer also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in May 2018, and a Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level N1 certification from the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, obtained in December 2011.
