Alex Meidel serves as the Design and Technology Pathfinding Lead at Toga Networks since August 2020, focusing on end-to-end solutions for high-speed and low-power CPU designs, including back-end sign-off methodologies and power-performance optimization for CPUs and SoCs. Prior to this role, Alex spent over 26 years at Intel Corporation, culminating in the position of Senior Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included leading circuit quality and design methodologies in the Core-Client development group, along with specializations in SoC power performance and circuit design. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Hardware Engineer at IBM and a VLSI Hardware Engineer at DSP Semiconductors. Alex holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Perm State Technical University, earned between 1983 and 1988.
