Ofer Idan

Ofer Idan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in research and development within the AR/VR and media technology sectors. Currently serving as the Research Development Team Lead at Toga Networks, a Huawei Company, Ofer specializes in deep neural networks and generative AI, leading projects such as 3D face reconstruction and camera ISP applications, while also collaborating with teams in China to integrate advanced algorithms into Huawei products. Previous roles include Senior Team Leader at Verint, where Ofer managed media algorithms for video surveillance solutions, and Algorithms Group Manager at Polycom, focusing on video codecs and new technology demonstrations. Ofer's early career includes positions at RuggedCom, Media Layers, and AudioCodes, showcasing proficiency in various programming and media technologies. Ofer holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Tel Aviv University, a BSc in Communication Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, and is currently pursuing an MS in Data Science and Machine Learning.
