Shimi Shilo

Shimi Shilo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and communications. Currently serving as the Next Gen Wi-Fi Research Team Leader and Wi-Fi System & PHY Expert at Toga Networks since 2013, Shimi has also held the position of CTO & Co-Founder at Greenair Wireless from 2009 to 2012. Prior experience includes work as an Algorithm Engineer at Runcom Technologies LTD and as a CDMA and RF Engineer at Pelephone Communications, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of communications algorithms and RF/network optimization tools for CDMA networks. Shimi holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, complemented by a Master’s degree in History and Philosophy of the Sciences and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Digital Communications from Chalmers University of Technology. Academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
