Mateo Peralta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mateo began their career as a Freelance Journalist & Writer for various online and print publications from September 2014 to August 2019. In February 2019, Mateo worked as a Reporter for Esprit de Corps Military Magazine. From August 2017 to April 2018, they served as a Community Developer at Carleton University.
In 2018, Mateo held several positions including President of Carleton University Journalism Society, Opening Event Speaker & Ceremonies Committee Member for Carleton University Relay for Life, and Project/Evaluation Officer at Families Canada.
From September 2019 to February 2021, Mateo worked at Riipen where they held multiple roles. Mateo started as an Academic Client Success Associate, supporting and developing relationships with educators. Later, they transitioned to the role of People and Culture Associate, and finally became an Academic Onboarding Specialist, responsible for empowering educators and students through scalable support processes.
Starting in 2019, Mateo also worked at Venture for Canada where they served as a Fellow, Customer Success Liaison. In this role, they organized social good-focused initiatives and facilitated sessions on transitioning into Customer Success.
Most recently, Mateo joined Together Software in February 2022 as a Customer Success Manager.
Mateo Peralta began their education at Mother Teresa High School from 2009 to 2014. Mateo then pursued a Bachelor of Journalism degree at Carleton University from 2014 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, Mateo participated in the Venture for Canada Fellowship Program from 2019 to 2021.
