Zain Hasan

Zain Hasan is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in biomedical engineering and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Developer Advocate at SeMI Technologies since October 2022 and co-founding Vinci Labs in January 2020, Zain has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Research Student at the University of Toronto since September 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Venture Founder in the Health Stream at the Creative Destruction Lab and an engineering position at University Health Network, along with design engineering at eCAMION and a medical robotics internship at The Prince of Wales Hospital. Zain holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Master’s degree in the same field from the University of Toronto, complementing a foundational degree in Engineering Science obtained from the same institution.
