Ciaran Breen

Ciaran Breen serves as the Head of Data at BITogether since March 2020, focusing on strategic leadership and relationship development, among other skills. Prior to this role, Ciaran was the Central Data Architect at Co-op from November 2018 to March 2020, where involvement in the Enterprise Architecture team helped establish a new business area aimed at enhancing outbound campaign management and product development, as well as architecting a Data Lake/Modern Data Warehouse in Azure. Ciaran's experience also includes serving as a Data Architect at Co-op Insurance from April 2017 to November 2018, where a data strategy was created to enhance data capabilities, and implementation of a governance process was achieved. A brief tenure as Data Architect at Shield Safety Group involved providing recommendations on database performance and defining target architecture. Ciaran's earlier role as Head of Data Architecture with the Future Williams & Glyn Team at RBS completed a comprehensive background in data architecture. Ciaran holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
