Andrew MacKenzie

Andrew Mackenzie is an experienced professional in renewable energy and sustainability, currently serving as Team Lead at Toitū Envirocare since March 2019, focusing on assisting SMEs in achieving their carbon reduction goals. Prior roles include Senior Technical Account Manager and Technical Advisor at Livestock Improvement Corporation, and Artificial Breeding Technician Assistant. Andrew has held leadership positions, notably as President of the Appalachian State Renewable Energy Initiative, where responsibilities included product research, project management, and fund allocation. Earlier experiences feature an Engineering Internship at DCE Solar, where Andrew designed rooftop PV arrays, and an internship at Blue Ridge Energy Works, where initial responsibilities involved site preparation and insulation application.
