Belinda Mathers

Belinda Mathers currently serves as the Chief Science and Advisory Officer at Toitū Envirocare, having transitioned from the role of General Manager, Technical at Enviro-Mark Solutions Limited—a title Belinda held as the company evolved into Toitū Envirocare. With extensive experience in environmental management, Belinda previously held the position of Certification Manager at carboNZero Holdings Limited, overseeing certification decisions for CEMARS and carboNZero programmes. Earlier in their career, Belinda worked as a Principal Environmental Engineer at GHD Limited, focusing on environmental management, auditing, due diligence, greenhouse emissions, and sustainability, and served as a global leader in environmental management systems and audits from 2007 to 2012. Belinda holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
