Erkin Uzun

Erkin Uzun has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Erkin is currently serving as the Chief Officer / GMY for Digital Card Services at Token Financial Technologies since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Officer / GMY for Financial & Business Development at the same company from January 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Token Financial Technologies, Erkin worked at Arcelik Group as a Financial Projects Manager, specializing in M&A/Investments from November 2015 to January 2021.

From October 2011 to November 2015, they worked at Turk Telekom as a Financial Projects Manager, gaining in-depth knowledge in M&A, business planning, international business development, tenders, and major investments in the TMT industry.

Erkin also had experience working at Finansbank as a Project Finance Supervisor from November 2009 to October 2011, where they evaluated investment projects in various industries such as energy, infrastructure, healthcare, aviation, and manufacturing.

Earlier in their career, Erkin worked as a Corporate Finance Advisor at AK Investment from November 2006 to December 2008, and as a Corporate Finance & Audit Advisor at PwC from September 2004 to November 2006.

Overall, Erkin Uzun has a strong background in finance, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and business development, with expertise in various industries including technology, consumer goods, and telecommunications.

Erkin Uzun obtained their BA in Economics from Boğaziçi University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Adana Fen Lisesi, a Science High School, from 1996 to 1999. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued further education at Istanbul Bilgi University, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Financial Economics from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Erkin Uzun obtained certifications such as the Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online in October 2019, and the Capital Markets Activities Advanced Level certification from the Capital Markets Board of Turkey in October 2006.
