Prashant Jain

Prashant Jain is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Tokopedia since November 2021, Prashant leads a team of senior data scientists on projects related to product categorization, quality, and description generation using advanced techniques such as large language models (LLMs) and active learning. Prior to this role, Prashant held positions at Micron Technology as a Senior Data Science Engineer, where a patent for innovation was registered, and at HP as a Data Analytics intern focused on smart manufacturing. Early career experience includes technical roles at ABB as an Application Engineer and internships at Cotmac Private Limited and Sofcon Systems India Private Limited. Prashant holds a Master’s degree in Enterprise Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation and Control from NIT Jalandhar.
