Luke Barba

Luke Barba is an experienced Field Service Engineer III at Tokyo Electron US, focused on on-site support for dry etching equipment at TSMC Fab 21 since June 2022. Previously served as a Technical Support Engineer I, providing troubleshooting and maintenance for etch tools. Luke's career began as a Researcher at RPI Materials Science and Engineering, where hands-on experience with materials simulation and characterization was gained. Additional roles include an Equipment Engineering Intern at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where alarm data analysis was conducted to minimize downtime, and a Product Engineering Co-op at Special Metals, concentrating on improving material quality. Earlier experiences include positions at Amazon, Ben Kallos in the New York City Council, and several work study roles at RPI. Luke holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated from The Browning School.
