Hossain Mohammad Ismail

Hossain Mohammad Ismail, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and researcher with experience as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology since March 2023, in addition to serving as a Lecturer at the Institute of Disaster Management at the same institution. Hossain has also held the position of Research Assistant at Tokyo Metropolitan University since October 2021. Hossain's research focuses on human-environment geography, emphasizing the management of protected natural resources and land degradation linked to global trade, informed by political and cultural systems. Hossain holds a Ph.D. in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from Tokyo Metropolitan University, where studies were completed from 2018 to 2021, and possesses a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University, obtained in 2014 and 2015, and 2010 to 2014, respectively.
