Sven Olaf Nelson is an accomplished graphic designer and letterpress printer with over two decades of experience in the design industry. As the founder of Pineapple Press & Design since June 2001, Sven specializes in creating personalized, hand-made greeting cards and other printed materials from a dedicated studio in Sylvania, Ohio. In addition to running their own business, Sven serves as a teaching artist at the Toledo Museum of Art's Print Studio, where instruction focuses on historic letterpress techniques. Prior roles include senior graphic designer and consultant positions at Root Inc., graphic designer at TMP Worldwide, and electronic specialist at Target. Sven holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Ball State University, attained between 1994 and 2001.
