Brett Loney

Director, Development at Toledo Symphony Orchestra

Brett Loney is the Director of Development at Toledo Symphony Orchestra. Brett has over 20 years of experience in fundraising and management consulting, with a focus on small and mid-sized nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Prior to their current position, Brett served as the Vice President of Development for Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts, Principal of Loney & Associates, LLC, and Associate Vice President of Development at The University of Toledo. Brett has also held positions as Director of Development for Wright State University, Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School, and St. John's Jesuit High School. In addition to their work in the nonprofit sector, Brett is also an attorney and mediator.

Brett Loney has a Juris Doctor from The College of William and Mary - Marshall Wythe Law School, a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University in English and Political Science, and education from St. John's Jesuit High School and St. Patrick of Heatherdowns. Brett is also ACFRE certified by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-IHQ) and CFRE certified by CFRE International.
