Chris Mercadante

Chris Mercadante is an experienced photographer and videographer with a diverse background in broadcast and multimedia production. Currently serving as a photographer at WTVG-13abc since February 2015, Chris captures and edits daily news content, including VOSOTs, VOs, packages, and live shots. In addition, Chris works as an in-house cameraman for the Toledo Mud Hens and the Toledo Walleye Hockey Club, producing video packages for broadcast and online use. Previous roles include a production assistant at BCSN, where responsibilities included setting up broadcasting equipment, and a multimedia specialist at the University of Toledo, collaborating with faculty to create professional video content. Chris began a career in media as an intern at Toledo Hospital, focusing on various photography tasks, and has also held an assistant manager position at Cinemark. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Technology from Bowling Green State University.
