Alan Beacham

Alan Beacham is the current President of Global Express at Toll Group. Prior to this, they were the Executive General Manager Transport & Technology at UGL, and before that, the Director of Naval Ship Management Pty Ltd. Alan has over 28 years of experience in the transport industry, with a focus on rolling stock supply and maintenance, operations and maintenance, signaling and communications, complex control systems and technology based infrastructure. Alan was appointed to the Board of Metro Trains Melbourne in August 2015, and was a key part of the strategic review of the recent bid to renew the franchise for a second term with the Victorian Government.

Alan Beacham has a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Management from the University of Nottingham.
