Sugu Suppiah

Sugu Suppiah has over 25 years of experience in various roles in the logistics and supply chain industry. Sugu started their career in 1995 as an Owner Operator at DHL Express Sdn Bhd, where they oversaw network planning and courier delivery services. Sugu then worked as a Project Manager at Knowledgebaze (M) Sdn Bhd, leading the execution of the National School Lab project. Sugu joined DHL Global Forwarding in 2004 as a Program Manager, overseeing warehousing and distribution activities. Sugu later joined DHL Supply Chain in 2007 as a Senior Contract Manager & Distribution Manager, where they led a team in maintaining high standards of contract distribution services. In 2014, Sugu became the Head of Operation for Central Region at MISC Berhad, managing logistics operations for oil & gas product deliveries. Sugu then joined DB Schenker in 2016 as a General Manager Contract Logistics / Supply Chain Management and Head of Distribution Malaysia, responsible for overseeing contract logistics and supply chain management operations. In 2022, Sugu took on the role of General Manager-Project Management at CJ Century Logistics Holdings Berhad before assuming their current role as Head of Contract Logistics, Malaysia at Toll Group. Throughout their career, Sugu has demonstrated strong leadership skills, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, optimizing resources, and driving customer satisfaction.
