Anjan Chatterjee MD MPH MBA has extensive work experience in the field of medical affairs, healthcare management, and pharmaceutical consulting. Anjan is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Tolmar since 2023. Previously, they worked as an Advisory Board member at ABE Capital Management, LLC. Anjan has also served as a Consultant to the Pharmaceutical Industry from 2022 to 2023. Before that, they held the position of Senior Vice President at Insmed Incorporated from 2019 to 2022, where they led global medical affairs teams and was responsible for HEOR, Pharmaco-epidemiology, and Real World Evidence teams.

From 2016 to 2019, Anjan Chatterjee worked at Boehringer Ingelheim in various roles, including Corporate Vice President, Global Head of Real World Evidence - COE, Epidemiology and Big Data, and Executive Director, Therapeutic Area Head in Medical Affairs for Ophthalmology, CNS, Immunology, and BioS.

Prior to that, they served as the CEO of VR1 Inc, a company specializing in developing medicines for pain and migraines from 2012 to 2016. Anjan also worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from 2006 to 2012, holding several positions such as Global Medical Affairs Lead, Senior Medical Director, and Medical Director in various therapeutic areas.

Anjan Chatterjee began their career as an Assistant Attending at Columbia University Medical Center from 2001 to 2004 and later worked as an Associate Medical Director at Merck Research Labs from 2004 to 2006.

Anjan Chatterjee obtained their Bachelor's degree from Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram in 1984. Anjan then pursued a Medical Doctor (MD) degree at Delhi University from 1984 to 1990, specializing in medicine. Later, in 2001, they engaged in a Movement Disorders Fellowship at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, which was completed in 2004. In the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Subsequently, they attended Columbia Business School from 2009 to 2011, obtaining their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, and Economics.
