Dorothea Gruber

Dorothea Gruber has extensive experience in scientific research and drug development. Dorothea started their career as a PhD student at the University of Basel, where they focused on studying cancer models and the epithelial to mesenchymal transition. Dorothea also investigated tumor angiogenesis and its impact on cancer development. After completing their PhD, Dorothea worked as a post-doc at the University of Zurich's Institute of Molecular Cancer Research. During this time, they examined the implications of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori on gastric cells and its role in gastric carcinogenesis. Currently, Dorothea is employed at TOLREMO therapeutics AG, where they serve as the Scientific Operations Manager and also works as a scientist in early drug development.

Dorothea Gruber earned a Diplom degree in Human Biology from The Philipp University of Marburg, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006.
