Sukanta Chakraborty, P.E.

Sukanta Chakraborty, P.E. has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Quantity Surveyor at Larsen & Toubro LTD., India. Sukanta then moved on to Bansal Mechanical Works Industries LTD., India, where they served as a Project Engineer. In 2003, they joined Simplex Concrete Piles (India) LTD., India, as an Assistant Engineer. In 2004, they joined MECON Limited, India, as an Assistant Project Engineer, where they worked on designing foundations for steel plant structures, monitoring projects, and coordinating a CAD team. In 2009, they worked at Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. as a Staff Engineer (Geotechnical), performing laboratory testing and geotechnical engineering analysis. Moving forward, they joined Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) in 2009 as a Project Manager, and later took on the role of Project Manager/Geotechnical Project Engineer in 2013. During their time at PSI, they managed projects, conducted engineering planning and analyses, and wrote reports for large refinery/power plant projects. In 2017, they joined Terradyne (Geotechnical) as a Geotechnical Engineer, and in 2018, they joined Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. in the same capacity.

Sukanta Chakraborty, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering at Jadavpur University from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Geotechnical Engineering from Louisiana State University, completing the program between 2007 and 2009.
