Markus Muther

Markus Muther has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Markus is currently serving as the Head of People at Tom Dixon Studio since April 2022. Prior to this, from November 2020 to March 2022, they worked as a People Partner at innocent drinks.

Before that, they were employed at British American Tobacco (BAT) where they held several roles. From May to December 2019, they served as a Global HR Business Partner - Digital Transformation, focusing on delivering organizational changes and digital transformation initiatives. From January 2018 to April 2019, they were the Head of Human Resources for BAT Netherlands, responsible for shaping the people agenda and preparing the market launch of vaping products. From May to December 2017, they worked as a Human Resources Business Partner for BAT Benelux, supporting the organization during times of change and separation from the Belux business.

Prior to their experience at BAT, Markus worked as an HR Business Partner for Next Generation Products from May 2014 to April 2017, where they provided HR solutions for the newly established New Categories business. Markus also served as an HR Executive for the Global TaO Programme, BAT's largest organizational transformation program, from January 2012 to April 2014, and as a Management Trainee in Human Resources from October 2009 to December 2011.

Earlier in their career, Markus held positions such as HR Specialist/Personalberater at Silvretta Montafon GmbH from January to September 2009, HR Specialist Service Center at Infineon Technologies from March 2007 to July 2008, and completed an internship at BMW as an Internship Works Council from October 2006 to March 2007. Markus also gained experience as an Intern at the German-Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce from October 2005 to January 2006.
