THE POSITION:

TomboyX is looking for a consumer focused, passionate and enthusiastic Director of eCommerce who will be responsible for leading TomboyX’s eCommerce channel through our next phase of growth. You are a thoughtful, outcome-focused, multi tasking master that loves all things eCommerce and are capable of driving to deliver plan and on-time execution.

This role leads the eCommerce team, eporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, and will act as a GM of e comm, owning digital merchandising, UX, testing, personalization efforts, consumer analytics, operations, technology and collaborate with a wide range of functional partners including Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, & IT. To be successful in this role, you must be a high potential leader who is an excellent communicator, highly motivated, effective at collaborating across multiple cross-functional teams, and able to launch and operate initiatives and programs that improve sales, site traffic, conversion and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Own sales, site traffic, gross margin, and conversion targets for e-commerce channel to deliver against US/International DTC e-commerce channel goals, budget and KPIs

· Collaborate with Creative, Growth Marketing, Planning and Merchandising teams to develop integrated e-comm plans and manage against the brand, channel, merchandising, campaign promotions, and programs/calendars

· Manage and optimize the online assortment, collections, search/filtering results, UX/navigation, seasonal promotions/price management, product detail pages, content/story presentation, and site launch/freshness in collaboration with Merch & Planning and Creative teams

· Optimize and improve conversion through continuous improvement of navigation, assortment merchandising, UX, SEO, search, production recommendations, product pages, personalization, customer service, and checkout

· Lead testing and optimization efforts across critical e-comm components to drive funnel improvements

· Collaborate with Growth Marketing team on strategies, tactics, and results to drive performance marketing efforts, and deliver against KPIs for customer acquisition and retention

· Report core e-comm metrics, and utilize analytics and sales data to drive site merchandising and CX improvements, consistently providing due to/ROI analysis

· Own the strategy and management of the eCommerce technical stack and platform roadmap, to drive sales, improve site performance, improve conversion, and mitigate risks

· With Director of Technology, co-manage external development and technical resources

· Build and ensure a cohesive, high-performing in-house and external team, including vendor management

· Research industry trends and incorporate best-practice user experience tactics and site functionality to test, learn, and capitalize on opportunities

WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIREMENTS:

· 7+ years experience in eCommerce sales and technology

· Demonstrated experience leading eCommerce and digital merchandising for a DTC brand

· Operating experience in Shopify commerce platform

· Proven track record of delivering results in eCommerce channel

· Owned the sales performance and technology roadmap for the eCommerce sales channel

· Knowledge of eCommerce best practices.

· Flexible problem-solver and comfortable balancing pros/cons, speed, outcomes to prioritize highest impact solutions and changes

· Proven ability to interact & collaborate across all areas with the organization to learn & implement value add capabilities and improvements to the consumer experience

· Excellent communicator, bias for outcomes and action and bringing cross-functional team along to create cohesive customer experiences that deliver plans

· Data-driven, continuous process improvement leadership with a growth mindset

· Interest and eagerness to tactically execute day to day actions within various marketing channels. We are a small company - we wear many hats.
