Nicholas Pilla

Nicholas Pilla is a Scientist I at Tome Biosciences since January 2023, leading innovative projects on viral vector delivery systems for gene editing. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Associate Scientist at Ensoma, where protocols for adenoviral vector production were developed and executed. As an Associate Scientist III at PureTech Health, Nicholas contributed to the virology team by developing methods for the molecular biology and characterization of AAV vectors, along with creating a scalable purification method for milk extracellular vesicles. Nicholas also held roles as an Associate Scientist and R&D Co-Op at PureTech Health, and as a Process Development Co-Op at Alkermes Inc. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, earned in 2017.
