Sj Liong

SJ Liong has a strong background in technology and business strategy. They have served as Chief Technology Officer in multiple companies, including Tomei Consolidated Bhd, Prestariang Digital, Business Origin Sdn. Bhd., and LPS Global & UPX Sdn Bhd. In these roles, Liong spearheaded digital transformation initiatives, led the development and implementation of digital sales and marketing strategies, and managed end-to-end projects. They also have experience as an IT Director at HCK Capital Group, where they were responsible for establishing technological roadmaps and architectures for various subsidiary companies. Liong's expertise spans industries such as jewelry retail, technology solutions, digital marketing, property, media, F&B, hospitality, investments, and education. Earlier in their career, Liong held positions as a Software Engineer (Team Leader) at LeadingSide and as a Systems Executive at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT).

SJ Liong obtained a Higher Diploma in Computer Systems and a Diploma in Computing and IT from the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) from 1999 to 2000. From 1999 to 2001, Liong attended Staffordshire University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computing, specializing in Information Technology. Lastly, Liong pursued a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business at the University of Strathclyde from 2008 to 2010.
