Boh Soon LIM Dr has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. In 2001, they founded Arise Asset Management Pte Ltd. From 2013 to present, they have served as an Adjunct Professor at SMU - Singapore Management University and as an Advisor in the Chairman's Office at Public Gold Marketing Sdn Bhd. In 2015, they became an Independent Director at JUMBO Group Ltd, a group of restaurants offering diverse Asian dining experiences. In 2016, they took on the role of Venture Partner at Trans-Pacific Technology Fund, a venture capital fund focused on technology investments in Asia and the US. In 2017, they became an Independent Director at OUE Commercial REIT Pte Ltd, and from 2017 to 2019, they served as an Independent Director at OUE Limited. Boh Soon Lim Dr has an extensive education history. In 1979 to 1981, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. Boh Soon continued their education at the same university and obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from 1982 to 1985. In 1987, they attended the National University of Singapore and completed an Executive General Management Programme, focusing on General Management. In 1989, they pursued an Institute of Systems Science Certificate in Project Management for Information Systems from the National University of Singapore. In 1990 to 1991, they attended the Singapore Institute of Management and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. Following that, in 1991, they acquired a Diploma in Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2007, they completed the SMU-SID Executive Certificate program in Directorship from the Singapore Management University. Boh Soon later attended the Securities & Futures Institute in Taiwan in 2011 and obtained a Certificate in Independent Director & Supervisor. In the same year, they also completed a Mandatory Accreditation Programme in Corporate Governance for Directors of Public Listed Companies from Bursatra Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia. Lastly, in 2014, they attended the Clariden Leadership Institute - Global Executive Education and completed their Global Executive Program, which focused on Senior Management Leadership.
