John Nelson

John Nelson started their work experience in 2010 at McCraw Corporation as a Software Developer and Managed Services Manager. John was responsible for Java GUI development using a GIS platform and managed nightly backups for over 100 clients, as well as internal VoIP services.

In 2011, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee until 2013.

From 2014 to 2016, John worked at Benefitfocus as a Software Engineer.

Starting in 2016, they joined Blue Acorn iCi and held multiple roles including Application Engineer, Principal Software Architect, and Director of Engineering until 2021.

In 2021, they moved to Pathable where they worked as a Javascript Developer until 2022.

Currently, they are employed at Tomorrow as a Technical Solutions Architect.

John Nelson completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Furman University from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2011 to 2013.
