Stian Vælitalo

Stian Vælitalo is a Senior Software Architect at TOMRA since August 2022, with over two decades of experience in software architecture and IT consulting. Vælitalo has held various roles, including Styremedlem at Sten Invest AS since November 2011 and Software Architect at Playfinity AS from August 2016 to September 2022, where work focused on the architecture of the playOS platform. Previous positions include Architect roles at EVRY Mobility and EVRY Operations, contributing to Enterprise Mobile Management systems and cashpoint software for postal services, respectively. Vælitalo’s career began at Mind Norge AS as a System Developer, alongside involvement in multiple projects and teams aimed at enhancing mobile technology and system development. Educational qualifications include a degree in System Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and foundational studies in Chemistry at the University of Bergen and the University of Vienna.
