Thorsten Hepp has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Thorsten started their career as a Scholarship Student at Siemens AG Transportation Systems from 2003 to 2006. Thorsten then worked at Ferrostaal AG as a Project Engineer, handling various tasks in project procurement and overseeing activities in North America from 2006 to 2011. Thorsten then joined the Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services, where they completed their Master's thesis on Offshore-Windfarms and developed a simulation model for the O&M phase. Thorsten published their work in Schiff & Hafen in September 2014. Since 2014, Thorsten has been associated with TOMRA, initially as a Project Manager (Mining) until 2018. Thorsten then served as a Digital Operations Manager until 2021 and is currently working as the Head of Digital Operations.
Thorsten Hepp completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Design at Hochschule Niederrhein from 2003 to 2006. Thorsten further pursued their education at Hamburg University of Technology, graduating with a Master of Science in International Management and Engineering from 2011 to 2014.
