Uyen Tran

Uyen Tran is the founder and CEO of TômTex Co, a startup selected for IndieBio NY's Fall 2021 cohort. Throughout the intensive 4-month program, the TômTex team made great progress in R&D as well as in investment and team growth, with significant hires from CSO, science advisor, lead scientist to interns.

Previously, Tran was a visiting lecturer and guest critic at Parsons School of Design - The New School, and a fashion designer at Peter Do and Alexander Wang Inc. Tran began their career as a fashion design trainee at Ralph.

Uyen Tran has a Master's degree in MFA Textile from Parsons School of Design - The New School and a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Academy of Art University.
