Dmitry Kan

Dmitry Kan is a seasoned professional in the fields of AI, search technology, and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager - Search at TomTom since May 2022. Dmitry is the Founder and Host of Vector Podcast, where insights into vector search and machine learning are shared. As the Founder and CEO of Insider Solutions, Dmitry provides consulting on search engine architecture, technology vendor selection, and ranking quality assurance. Dmitry's previous roles include Principal AI Scientist and Lead AI Scientist at Silo AI, Head of Search at AlphaSense, and University Lecturer at the University of Helsinki. Dmitry holds multiple advanced degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from esteemed institutions, including a PhD from Saint Petersburg State University and a certificate in Entrepreneurship from Stanford University.
