Yusuf Karabulut

Yusuf Karabulut is a specialist in global product and information security, currently serving as the Lead of Product Security Engineering at TomTom since January 2018. With a strong background in software, distributed systems, and security engineering for autonomous vehicles and machine learning, Yusuf has significantly contributed to threat analysis and security enhancements in these areas. Previous roles at TomTom and Autonomos involved technical leadership and IT security architecture, where Yusuf successfully executed programs to enhance productivity and secure autonomous driving technologies. Earlier experience at ISS Engineering GmbH included leading the development of software systems for privacy-critical surveillance technologies, along with redesigning embedded systems and web-based services. Yusuf holds a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Freie Universität Berlin and additional education from Oberstufenzentrum Informationstechnik und Medizintechnik Berlin.
