Ryan Stobnicky

Ryan Stobnicky has a diverse work experience across various industries. Ryan began their career in the hospitality industry, working as a bartender at The Eglinton Grande from 2009 to 2011, and later at The Rosehill Venue & Lounge from 2008 to 2012. Ryan then joined Thompson Hotels as a bartender from 2011 to 2013.

In 2011, Ryan also worked at Aviva Canada as a Video Production Specialist and Digital Content Specialist for six months.

Ryan's career then shifted to the food and beverage industry, where they worked as a Bar Manager at Meliá Hotels International from 2015 to 2016, and as an Assistant General Manager at ICONINK - Weslodge from 2017 to 2018. Ryan also gained experience as a Food and Beverage Manager at ICONINK - Weslodge from 2016 to 2017.

In 2018, Ryan transitioned to a client-facing role as a Client Success Manager at Results Hospitality, where they worked until 2021. Ryan then joined Tonal, an exercise equipment company, starting as a Member Operations Advocate from 2021 to 2022, and progressing to Operations Coordinator from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Operations Lead at Tonal, starting in September 2023.

Ryan Stobnicky studied Communication and Media Studies at Seneca Polytechnic from 2008 to 2010. Ryan also holds additional certifications, including Smart Serve and WSET 1 from the WSET — Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
