Justin Geyve

Justin Geyve has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Justin currently serves as the Head of Tongaat Hulett Property, where they lead the turnaround strategy of a land and property development company impacted by mismanagement and financial irregularities. Justin drives the company vision and change management and oversees budgetary, financial, and operational activities.

Prior to their current role, Justin worked as the Chief Commercial Officer at The Beverage Company, where they had full commercial accountability and managed a team of approximately 250 employees. Justin was responsible for sales, new product development, third-party distributor relationships, trade activation, and brand building.

Justin also served as the MD (General Management) of Partner and Emerging Markets at Diageo. In this role, they had P+L accountability for 22 markets in West, Central Africa, Southern Africa, and Angola, overseeing a portfolio of beer and spirits.

Before that, Justin held several positions at SABMiller, including Country Director of Namibia Breweries Pty Ltd, Director of Business Development at Cervejas de Mozambique, General Manager (Wines and Spirits) at Cervejas De Mozambique, and Director of Finance and Planning at Tanzania Breweries Ltd.

Justin's early career included finance roles at Massmart and a training contract at Deloitte.

After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Justin furthered their education by completing a Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) with a specialization in CTA (Honours Accounting Science) from the same university in 1998.

In December 2020, they earned a UCT Property Development and Investment Certificate from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
