Vishaal Behariram

Vishaal Behariram is a seasoned professional in internal auditing and risk management, currently serving as the Group Internal Audit Manager at Tongaat Hulett since November 2020. Prior roles include Group Internal Audit Manager at Africa Sun Oil Refineries and Senior Internal Auditor at Illovo Sugar Limited. Vishaal has also held the position of Internal Audit Manager at AB Sugar. Beginning a career at KPMG South Africa as an Internal Audit Supervisor, and previously working as an Article Clerk at PKF South Africa, Vishaal has garnered extensive experience in both internal and external auditing. Academically, Vishaal is equipped with multiple qualifications, including CA(SA) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, as well as an ACIS in Corporate Governance from Chartered Secretaries South Africa, supported by a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) CTA from the University of South Africa.
