Pete Samson

Pete Samson is a seasoned marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing, Brand and Communications at Tongal, a community-powered content creation platform, since January 2024. Prior to this role, Pete co-founded and was the Editorial Director of Mr Feelgood, a men’s lifestyle and mental health platform, from August 2020 to August 2024, where a globally-respected media brand was developed. Previous experience includes founding 20Story, providing content strategy for top brands, and serving as Executive Producer at SYCO ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED, collaborating on projects with Simon Cowell. Additionally, extensive editorial experience includes roles at News UK, where Pete held positions such as US Editor and Deputy Entertainment Editor, and initial reporting roles at Reach plc and Wales News Service Limited. Educational qualifications include a Mini MBA in Marketing and a PGDip in Newspaper Journalism from Cardiff University, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Film, and Broadcasting.
