Halima Ibrahim Abba is the Executive Director, Consultant Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Tongston Entrepreneurship. Halima has over 6 years of experience in strategic planning, people management, business coordination, operational execution, and cross-divisional collaboration. Prior to their current role, they were the Associate Vice President, Investments, AFC 5-Year Strategy Transformation Associate: Investment Division Lead, SA to the Chief Investment Officer | Senior Investment Associate, Investments Associate | SA to the Chief Investment Officer, Analyst - Senior Investment Analyst at Africa Finance Corporation. During their time there, they were responsible for driving the design thinking process for initiatives sizing through to actualization and impact through the L-gate system. Halima also provided input into the initiatives for divisional improvement and excellence towards achieving AFCs ambitious 5-year target to attain a US$10bn balance sheet. Other notable achievements include the launch and approval of the first of its kind sustainability policy, launch and approval of the first of its kind flexi-working policy, and launch, approval and management of the first of its kind AFC academy – a comprehensive learning and development platform led by staff covering quantitative, technical, legal/documentation, product and sector specific sessions.
