Christian Bieri

Christian Bieri has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christian started their career at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate, where they worked on various projects in Switzerland and Europe. After that, they joined Swiss Re, where they held multiple roles such as Vice President Operational Development, Vice President Underwriting, Senior Vice President Underwriting, and Managing Director Underwriting. During their time at Swiss Re, they led the underwriting teams for different regions and managed significant portfolios. Following their tenure at Swiss Re, they worked at Amlin Re Europe as the Chief Underwriting Officer and later became a Member of the Management Board and Market Unit Head. Christian then joined MS Amlin as the Head of Reinsurance - EMEA, responsible for the EMEA reinsurance business, and also served on the Amlin AG Board. Christian Bieri has also been self-employed and worked as a Start-Up Work and Re/Insurance Advisor. In 2018, they joined TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG as a Board Member and transitioned to Bernina Re Ltd, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer. Currently, they are working as a Senior Advisor at Oxbow Partners and will become the Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Stablecoin AG in 2023.

Christian Bieri obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1995. Christian then pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Management & Manufacturing at ETH Zürich from 1994 to 1999.
