Timo Krause

Timo Krause has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Timo is currently serving as the Chief Underwriting Officer at TONI Digital and as the Chief Actuary at Embea. Prior to this, they held various roles at Toa Re Europe, including Head of Life & Health and Market Head EMEA, Life Accident & Health. Timo also worked at Swiss Re, where they held positions such as Sales Director, Head of Life & Health Transactions EMEA, Key Account Manager, and Pricing Actuary. Earlier in their career, they worked at an Actuarial Consultancy as a Consulting Actuary and was self-employed as a Database Developer. Overall, Timo has a diverse background in the insurance industry, specializing in areas such as underwriting, actuarial work, sales, and client management.

Timo Krause holds a Certified Global Account Manager (GAM-HSG) degree in Key Account Management from the University of St.Gallen in 2013. In 2002, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from the University of Basel. Prior to that, in 2000, Timo Krause completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, also from the University of Basel.
