Prior to this role, Matt held positions at Capria Ventures as an Investor Relations & Analytics specialist, focusing on early-growth tech startups in emerging markets from September 2022 to December 2023. Experience at Gopuff as a Strategy Analyst and in consumer insights, along with a role as a Venture Fellow at Dream VC, highlighted a commitment to democratizing venture capital education in Africa. Matt’s expertise as a Venture Director at MZZ Africa involved sourcing and screening tech startups for investment, complemented by analytical roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Silk Tours, Inc., where Matt served as Co-Founder & CEO.
