Diego Scharifker

Diego Scharifker currently serves as the Head of Global Business Engagement at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, starting in January 2024. Prior to this role, Scharifker was the Director of Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships at the Atlantic Council from August 2022 to January 2024 and held various positions at the USO from August 2018 to August 2022, including Corporate Development Officer and Account Manager in Corporate Alliances. Scharifker's experience includes significant political roles, such as serving as a City Council Member in Chacao, where contributions included developing environmental policies and sponsoring groundbreaking ordinances on discrimination. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Central de Venezuela, along with additional leadership training at IESA and Harvard Business School Online.
