Emily Stanger Sfeile serves as the Executive Director of Partnerships and Initiatives and the Deputy Global Director of Tech 4 Development at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change since November 2017. Prior to this role, Emily was the Country Head and Governance Advisor at the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative. Experience also includes a position as Program Manager for UN Women's Joint Program on Gender Equality and Women's Economic Empowerment, and serving as Special Advisor to the Minister of Gender in the Government of Liberia through the Scott Fellow Programme. Other notable roles include Advisor at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, and an intern at the Government of Liberia's Ministry of Gender and Development. Emily holds a Master of Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Theology from Boston College.
