Wai Leong

Wai Leong has a diverse work experience in various industries. Wai started their career as an Integrated Market Intelligence Intern at GfK in 2016. Later, they worked as a Regional Marketing Intern at Shopee in 2016-2017. Wai Leong then joined Synergy Link Capital as an Analyst in Financial Trading from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined DBS Bank as a Data Scientist in the Risk Management Group and later moved to the Treasury & Market Operations department. Their responsibilities at DBS included workflow automation, process mining, email classification, and data analysis. In 2022, Wai Leong joined Tookitaki as an Applied Data Scientist.

Wai Leong completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Sciences with a Minor in Finance at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they also participated in an exchange program at Charles University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics.

Additionally, they obtained certifications in Introduction to Neo4j from Neo4j in March 2020 and Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai in April 2019.
