Tawanda Michael Mahere

Tawanda Michael Mahere is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and consulting across various industries. Currently, Tawanda holds the position of Product Lead for World ID at Tools for Humanity and serves as a Contributor at World. Previously, Tawanda was the Lead Product Manager for Payments Identity at Google, overseeing digital identity for monetizing products globally. Tawanda also worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising on payments and fintech, and developed product strategy at Technisys, a banking software startup. Prior roles include VP of Global Growth at Jide Technology, Program Director at Beijing Tech Hive, and Co-Founder of both China Africa Careers and an English training school.
