Samuel Branders has had a diverse work experience in the field of data mining and statistical research. Samuel started their career as a PhD student at the Université catholique de Louvain in 2010 and completed their studies in 2015. After that, they joined Cognivia in 2015 and held the role of Data Mining Specialist until 2017. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing mathematical and statistical models for Tools4Patient multimodal diagnostic tools. Samuel also integrated statistical methods to support the operational team and provided expertise in the statistical aspects of clinical trials. From 2017 until the present, Samuel has been working at Cognivia as a Data Mining and Statistical Research Scientist. In this role, they continue to develop models for Tools4Patient, integrates statistical methods, and provides statistical expertise for clinical trials. Recently, in August 2022, Samuel has taken on the position of Data Mining Scientist Director at Cognivia.
Samuel Branders completed their Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering at Université catholique de Louvain from 2005 to 2010. Samuel then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from the same university from 2010 to 2015.
